In addition, as with Kingston's offer, the new Patriot Memory USB Flash Drive will offer users support for Windows ReadyBoost, while Edge Corp will provide them with a built-in security

With the launch of the two new high-capacity USB Flash drives, the market for USB thumb drives gains a higher-capacity solution that will provide users with more storage space for their digital content. In addition, with read speeds of up to 31MB/s, claimed by Patriot Memory for its new Magnum Series, users can gain quick access to their files. Furthermore, thanks to their slim and ultraportable form factor, these drives can easily fit any pocket and the user can take them on the road.

Unfortunately, Patriot Memory hasn't unveiled any details regarding pricing and availability, but the fellows over at Edge Corp have been kind enough to provide us with such details. According to them, their latest 128GB DiskGo Flash Drive is available for pre-order today with a price tag of US$389.95, considerably less than Kingston's offering.
