Patriot Launches 16GB and 32GB Class 10 MicroSDHC Cards

Today, leading designer of high-performance memory, NAND flash and computer peripheral solutions Pioneer Memory, announced officially the launch of two new microSD cards that would offer great experience to all owners of mobile phones.

The new Patriot 16GB and 32GB LX Series microSD High Capacity (SDHC) cards were designed to meet the SD Associations Class 10 specifications, which would result in increased levels of performance being delivered to the smartphones and mobile phones available on the market today.

Of course, these memory cards can prove great options for use with other digital devices as well, the company announced.

However, in a world in which most handset owners tend to use their mobile phones for far more purposes than just making calls, the inclusion of higher capacity, faster performing microSD cards into the mix seems like a great idea at all times.

“Today's mobile devices have evolved from simplistic phones to multi-functional tools capable of handling email, music, photos and more,” said Meng Jay Choo, Patriot’s Flash Product Manager.

“Smartphones have become a part of our everyday lives letting us connect with each other. Adding 16GB and 32GB storage solutions let consumers expand the capabilities of these devices.”

According to the company, the new 32GB LX Series microSDHC Class 10 cards would be able to offer support for video recording of over 10 hours in HD quality, or support for a number of more than 10,000 photos.

However, Patiot warns that “results may vary based on the host device, settings, file size, resolution, compression rate, bit-rate and other factors.”

The new cards come with a full SD adapter included into the mix, so that users can put them inside a variety of devices, including digital cameras, HD camcorders, tablets and more.
