Patrick Swayze has recently revealed he had a special relationship with his wife before their marriage.
The Dirty Dancing star said that he had lived with his wife for a year before they had sex, although it was a tough task to accomplish, as they were sharing the same bed.

"We were friends for a long time before we became lovers. We even lived and slept together for a year before we had sex. That wasn't easy", Swayze said.

"I never took part in all that locker-room banter about sexual conquests. All those guys who say they go out every weekend looking for women usually wind up getting drunk and never ending up with anyone", the actor added.

"I had somebody real to go home to. That was more important to me than sex, even though I missed it", Swayze concluded.

The actor is currently promoting his latest flick, 'Keeping Mum', in which he plays a golfing instructor. Also starring in the film are Maggie Smith, Rowan Atkinson, Kristin Scott Thomas and Emilia Fox.
The film is slated for a general release on December 2.

Swayze has also tried to make up to Scarlett Johansson, who has once approached him at a party.

"I actually ran up to Patrick at a party, and said, 'Hi, it's so nice to meet you. I just wanted you to know I've really liked Dirty Dancing since I was a little girl.' He replied, 'That was a long time ago.' I shrunk into a corner, cried and went home", Contactmusic quoted the actress as saying.

Swayze read the story and wanted to apologize for his cold behavior.

"God, I have to call her and find out what happened. I keep hearing this story and it breaks my heart. I can't say it's not true. It's entirely possible. It could just be one of those moments where you say something wrong", he stated.
