Patch 3.0.8a Available for World of Warcraft

A Blizzard Poster reveals there's a new patch (3.0.8a) available for World of Warcraft players using a Mac. The new release reportedly brings general fixes, and specific tweaks for Human females, Death Knights, Hunters and Warlocks.

While not made official by Blizzard, the post signed “Nethaera - Blizzard Poster” looks legit. Its entire contents can be viewed below.

Bug Fixes

General
Human females Helms will no longer lift off the character's head during a Special2H animation or during a HoldRifle animation.

Death Knights
Howling Blast : The 5 second cooldown will now display correctly.

Hunters
All Hunter aspects are no longer on the global cooldown that is shared with other Hunter abilities. All hunter aspects are now on a separate 1 second cooldown.

Warlocks
Ritual of Summoning will now function as intended.

Last week, Blizzard Entertainment officially released a new update for Mac and PC versions of its popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft. The patch delivered the promised ability to create Death Knights on any realm as players reach level 55, and tons of fixes and tweaks. Changes spanned over bonus armor, racial restrictions and resistances, silence spells, etc. Over 60 new graveyards have been added as well (to Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms).

According to Blizzard, "the mechanics for items with bonus armor on them has changed (any cloth, leather, mail, or plate items with extra armor, or any other items with any armor). Bonus armor beyond the base armor of an item will no longer be multiplied by any talents or by the bonuses of Bear Form, Dire Bear Form, or Frost Presence."

Blizzard Entertainment revealed that, thanks to the 3.0.8 patch released last week, players would no longer experience automatic deprecation of their reputation when killing mobs. Also revealed by the giant developer was that World of Warcraft now supports 3-D imaging.
