Here is a piece of news that might interest folks who are thinking about visiting the city of Berlin in Germany in the near future, especially if they are not exactly thrilled about the idea of involuntarily posing for photos while on the loo.

Media reports say that guests to a hotel in this part of the world can easily be seen by passers-by while sitting on the toilet. Even worse, it often happens that the guests are clueless about the compromising position they are in, Daily Mail informs.

Photos like the one next to this article stand as proof that, unless careful enough, people visiting the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin might one day wake up to find that complete strangers have a pretty good idea of what their dorsal sides look like.

This hotel in Berlin only has 10 floors, which means that it really isn't all that tall. However, the toilets intended for people dining at the hotel's restaurant have a wall that is entirely made of see-through glass, and this wall faces the street.

The result is that, whenever they look up, passers-by can easily see hotel guests relieving themselves. Of the passers-by that have until not had the chance to witness such scenes, some have even gone as far as to snap photos of the unsuspecting loo users.

Apparently, the toilets were fitted with a glass wall in an attempt to offer guests a unique experience. Simply put, the glass walls were supposed to make it possible for tourists to become better acquainted with the city of Berlin by observing it from the building's 10th floor.

“We offer our guests a contemporary hotel experience in individual, design oriented boutique hotels. Our services stand out through the highest degree of cordiality and professionalism,” the hotel's management team promises potential guests.

“The hotel is popular not only among its own guests, thanks to the restaurant and bar on the top floor with a 360° rooftop terrace and first-class views of the city and the Berlin Zoo,” the hotel's description goes on to explain.

Shortly after it was revealed that folks staying or dining at the 25hours Hotel Bikini Berlin could be seen while using the toilet, staff installed signs recommending that people be careful when visiting the loo. “Please be careful, not only the monkeys [at Berlin Zoo] are watching,” these signs read.

Still, all things considered, perhaps it would be best if people were to stop using these toilets altogether, and wait until they return to their room to relieve themselves. Unless one has absolutely no problem with being stared at while sitting on the loo, that is.
