LG and Digital Chocolate have closed a partnership in order to bring game titles of top quality for mobile phone users everywhere.

Entertainment plays a big part in making mobile phones appealing for their users. For this reason, Digital Chocolate will provide some of the best titles they have produced until now, of award-winning quality.

Most of the handsets that LG will release this month will have Digital Chocolate games included. Aside this, there will also be included additional scheduled pre-loads and co-marketing to follow.

The deal that they have closed with LG offers Digital Chocolate the great opportunity of bringing their creations on the devices created by one of the leading worldwide mobile phone producers. "LG's reputation for quality and innovation makes them an ideal partner for Digital Chocolate to significantly broaden and enhance our reach", said Trip Hawkins, founder and CEO of Digital Chocolate. Moreover, "This partnership provides Digital Chocolate the opportunity to market our games to LG's extensive consumer base, allowing us to cast a wider net in the marketplace".

"Featuring Digital Chocolate games on LG handsets is a great way to connect with core consumers by providing unique and entertaining content that can be enjoyed on the go", said Jon Maron, senior director of marketing for LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A. For this reason, he added that "LG Mobile Phones is thrilled to partner with Digital Chocolate, a company that has proven to be a leader in the mobile gaming industry".

Digital Chocolate is one of the largest independent mobile game producers and the author of some of the world's top-rated such games. Their portfolio includes an impressive number of 20 Games of the Year Awards and more than 50 Editor's Awards. Moreover, the company was awarded "Best Developer" and "Wireless Game of the Year" in the 2006 IGN.com Game of the Year awards.
