Patrick Verner announced a couple of days ago, July 28th, the immediate availability for download of the Parted Magic 2012_07_28 Linux operating system for partitioning tasks. Parted Magic 2012_07_28 comes with many updated and new packages, as well as new features and general improvements to the base system.
Among some of the most important features in Parted Magic 2012_07_28 we can mention the Clonezilla now supports NFS4, iptables supports LOG, and you'll be able now to boot Parted Magic from RAID partitions (/dev/md*).
Regarding the fixes brought by Parted Magic 2012_07_28 we can mention that the LVM and Truecrypt hang issues were fixed, Clonezilla Russian translation issue was fixed, the cryptsetup luksOpen bug was fixed, the SVG icons were repaired, fixed Device Mapper and LUKS Crypt, and HAL has been removed.
