The development team at Ubisoft has delivered three new songs for the Rocksmith music simulation title via Steam, allowing gamers on the PC to get access to the same musical experience that is also offered on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

The new songs are:

Parliament - Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)
Rick James - Super Freak
Chic - Good Times

The official description for Rocksmith reads: “Featuring gameplay that automatically adjusts to your personal ability, Rocksmith’s innovative game design makes playing music visually intuitive and will engage experienced musicians as well as those who have never picked up a guitar in their lives.’

The game distances itself from other members of the music genre by allowing players to use its unique mechanics in order to actually get knowledge that’s useful to playing in real life.
