Paris Hilton thinks she's a star. With that being said, she believes that she is entitled to her own star on the famous Walk of Fame in Hollywood. After all, she is the most overrated celebrity on earth, so that would make her fit the standards for which such a distinction is granted, she seems to think.
From an overall view at Paris' career, one can see that she did almost anything that qualifies for the celebrity status: porn, fashion, music, acting (in both a horror movie, 'House of Wax', and a comedy, 'Bottoms Up'), ads and much more. She is constantly in all the headlines, people love to talk about her (either if they hate her or not) and her personal life has been so much in the attention of the media that there's little else to learn about her.
The question arises: does that necessarily make her a star, worthy of being acknowledged with her very own star on the Walk of Fame, one of the most popular places in America? Of course not! Consequently, rumor has it that she's more than fuming over the way the people who deal with the handing out of stars (so to speak) are always overlooking her important contribution.
While Paris was present at the ceremony in which TV producer and LA Lakers basketball team owner Jerry Buss was being given his star, the loose-mouthed celebutante could not help herself from whispering to a friend that she would be a much better alternative than the celebrities who already appear on the famous sidewalk, says 'Life and Style Weekly' Magazine.
'I don't even know half these people. And, like, most of them are dead. I should totally have a star. I deserve one. I'm one of the most famous people on earth', she is quoted in the mag as saying. Like, Paris, did you ever think that maybe these stars are given, like, for a reason? Like, merits and stuff... Not that you wouldn't 'deserve' one, though...
