So, the VMAs came back to New York and the socialite Paris couldn't pass on the opportunity to make a special appearance. And 'special' it was...


Hilton's presence at such a prestigious ceremony was justified by two things: first, where celebrities gather, Paris is there; and two, she has just released her 'music' album, so she had to be present at an awards ceremony that celebrated music.

And, thus, people discovered that there is something even more embarrassing than her music album: the way the heiress dresses. Usually, Paris is a fashion-addict and she herself said that she changes through at least three outfits on a regular day. The girl almost never misses in her choice of clothes and she is highly critical of the way other celebrities dress (Britney, Pink, to name a few).

Sure, there were some incidents, like the one when she went to a party wearing something that resembled a night gown or those couple of times when she forgot to put on her underwear and flashed the paparazzi. But, in most cases, Paris is a good dresser.

This year's VMAs proved the contrary, as the singer (it almost hurts to say it!) sported a white dress that seemed to imitate the feathers of a swan. We totally dig the white and black combination, but the ensemble was positively disastrous! The hair-do is messy, the boots don't go with the dress and the outfit itself is something that probably would have looked good on Bjork and not on the slender Paris.

All in all, we are more than disappointed. The only thing that Paris could do with honor was to dress good and parade her tooshie on catwalks and red-carpets. If that's gone, does it mean that all we are left with is her music?
