Heiress to milk brief stay in jail for all it’s worth

When the “iconic blonde of [our] decade,” as she likes to call herself, Paris Hilton, went to Lynwood penitentiary in June 2007 to serve her sentence for driving with suspended license and parole violation, the entire star-struck world was in shock. Yet, only days later, the heiress emerged as a free woman, seemingly more popular than ever and ready to speak of her “ordeal” to anyone who would listen. Now, she’ll do that one more time, in a new song, reports have it.

If all that talk about being a changed woman because of the brief stay in jail was not enough to convince Paris’ fans of the reality of it all, then maybe a new song will do the trick. Buzz in the blogosphere has it that Miss Hilton is currently preparing to launch a new single, one that will detail the experience “America’s fantasy princess” had in the summer of ’07.

“I have another album coming out with a song I wrote like Jailhouse Baby, which is about my time behind bars.” Paris is quoted as telling the media just the other day. However, this probably being a Q&A right on the street, with a paparazzo acting as the interviewer, it’s no wonder no other details on this upcoming single are available at this time. As far as the future album is concerned and its status, word about it has been out for about an entire year now, but nothing concrete has come out of it so far.

Speaking of things that are bound to surprise us about Paris, she recently revealed in an interview with Glamour Magazine that what we read about her in the tabs is not necessarily true, one of the biggest misconceptions about her being about her love life. “People make up stories, but mostly I just kiss.” Paris said.

The heiress then continued by offering a few tips from her own experience. “I think it’s important to play hard to get. Nobody wants the fake Prada bag; they want the brand new bag that no one can get and is the most expensive. If you give it up to a guy he won’t respect you; he’ll want you much more if he can’t have you.” the socialite / singer / actress / designer told the mag.
