Paris Hilton’s Parents Fuming over Cocaine Arrest

Over the weekend, socialite Paris Hilton was arrested for possession of a class A substance, cocaine. While she’s preparing her defense, her parents are getting ready to give her a piece of their mind – and she’s not going to like it.

As we also informed you yesterday, Paris and her legal team are planning on using the “It wasn’t mine” defense, just like Lindsay Lohan also did when she was detained by cops years ago and had cocaine in her pants (which weren’t hers, she said).

Still, Paris’ parents are none too happy about their daughter’s latest brush off with the law. They’re also very mad at her latest boyfriend, Cy Waits, who was the one driving the car she was in at the time of the arrest.

Waits too was detained, for driving under the influence of drugs. The Hiltons are now lashing out against him because they consider him a very nasty influence on their daughter, E! Online says, citing ongoing reports.

“Despite once blessing their daughter’s latest coupling, sources are now saying that Rick and Kathy Hilton don’t like her new beau and are ‘flipping out’,” E! writes in a recent post.

“This, of course, comes after Friday night’s Vegas bust that landed the new lovebirds in the slammer on drug-related charges. What parent wouldn’t love this guy?!” the same media outlet reports.

However, in Paris’ case, the arrest could have been only a major misunderstanding, as her personal colorist says for the aforementioned e-zine. Michael Boychuck met and did Hilton’s hair only hours before the arrest – and he’s positive she’s not guilty of any crime.

According to Boychuck, Paris is the type that carelessly leaves her purse lying around, so anyone could have replaced it with the utmost ease, or even planted the drugs there just to get her in trouble.

“She’s upset because it wasn’t her substance,” Boychuck says. “If you know Paris, she would get up and hug someone in a minute and leave her purse around,” he adds.

And he does know Paris, because he’s been her personal colorist ever since she was 12, therefore he knows what he’s talking about. Plus, the socialite looked “totally” sober that night.

“She was drinking green tea that night in the salon. She didn’t have wine or anything. She was in a great mood,” Boychuck adds for the same publication. Waits was not with Paris at the hair salon, he also says.
