Paris Hilton Is the Ultimate Narcissist

It has never been a secret for anyone that Paris Hilton is probably one of the most notoriously narcissistic celebrities in Hollywood. The socialite has never been one to feel ashamed of promoting her own name and the products she endorses, and when it comes to her own image, there's not much that she finds unacceptable. For example, some people - even well-known fashion designers - would probably think twice before donning a top heavily emblazoned with their own logo - but not Paris. The heiress stepped out of an L.A. spa wearing a top (presumably) from her own collection and sporting a handbag covered in her own logo.

After trying her hand at acting (cough) and singing (cough, cough), Paris is apparently intent on making it as a fashion designer. However, she could probably use a little more technical advice on the matter, including a heads up about being too obvious in her advanced marketing campaign. However, if we were to consider the matter more closely, we'd probably reach the conclusion that there could be a logical explanation for Paris' way-too-obvious approach: for some aspects of her life, it actually works. No matter how much the media berates her, Paris Hilton is a brand that cashes in impressive amounts of money. Whether it's a clothing line, her own line of hair extensions or a product she endorses, Paris can sure make her own money.

Her in-your-face promotional strategy may come in handy in the very near future, seeing how Paris - who expected to receive a $100 million inheritance from her grandfather (who owns the exclusive line of Hilton hotels) was told a couple of months ago that her inheritance had been slashed to a mere $ 5 million. An unconcerned Paris replied at the time that "everything I've done, I've done on my own. I make my own money, I don't take anything from my family - I love making my own cash. I'm not doing it for anyone else but me". Who knew narcissism could be such a powerful motivator? The only difference is that for Paris Hilton, the no-so-subtle approach may actually work.
