Paris Hilton and Adrien Brody, a Couple in Cannes

Having recently broken up from her boyfriend, Paris Hilton has taken Cannes by storm on the occasion of the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, which also translates into the best time of the year to be there to party. Also in Cannes is Adrien Brody, with whom Paris met while partying in a club the other night – and the two have been spending quite a lot of quality time together, E! News says.

Photos of the two, snapped on two different occasions, show that they are on very friendly terms, to say the least. They’re not kissing or anything (except in a few of the pics, and it’s more like a peck on the cheek than a proper smooch), but there’s definitely touching and what appears to be a lot of flirting. This said, it’s no wonder then why many glossy publications and tabs have already jumped at the chance of calling Paris and Brody the hottest couple in town.

“Could there be a romance brewing between the Oscar winner and the newly single blonde, who’ve been spotted together all over the south of France? ‘They were at Billionaire for the 1Oak party and dancing at Jimmy’z club in Monaco,’ a source tells me, adding that Adrien Brody also joined Paris Hilton on her megayacht. And just last night, they were spotted canoodling at Club VIP in Cannes, where Karl Lagerfeld was throwing his Chanel party... ‘They seemed very comfortable with each other,’ an eyewitness tells me. ‘They were both laughing and having what seemed to be a really funny conversation’,” E! writes.

Mr. Paparazzi has a different set of pictures of the two and in those too the two stars seem to be very much into each other. “Perhaps they were having an innocent chat, or maybe they were just comparing noses – who the bloody hell knows, eh? One’s thing for sure though, when Adrien Brody and Paris Hilton sat whispering into each other’s ears at the back of a Cannes club last night, they ended up looking as though they were having a good old fashioned flirt,” the paparazzi agency writes.

At the same time, other sources tell the US media that, while the actor would positively love if Paris accepted to go out with him and perhaps give a more serious relationship a go, she is not looking for anything like that right now. Adrien is head over heels with her, and she’s flattered – but otherwise not really that interested, spies claim.
