Paris Hilton Throws Major Hissy Fit After Being Grilled on The View

While promoting her latest reality show, “The World According to Paris” on Oxygen, Paris Hilton stopped by on The View for some chit-chat. However, things got pretty bad pretty quickly, and she ended up being grilled live – and didn’t appreciate it at all.

The interview (see it below, embedded at the end of the article) seemed to kick off on the right footing, with Paris and her mom, Kathy Hilton, joining the four ladies on The View to talk about the reality show and how it should – and would – offer a closer look at the “real” Paris.

The moment this was brought up, Whoopi noted that the show can’t be “real” since there’s editing involved, which means they choose which scene to keep and which to cut.

Barbara Walters joined the discussion, grilling Paris on why she continued to promote this “frivolous,” “fluffy” image of herself, when she kept insisting that she’s not like that and that she wanted to be taken seriously by the industry.

After the show, Paris was so upset with what had just happened that she lashed out at producers and threw a hissy fit for allowing Barbara to grill her like that, the New York Post informs.

One of the producers on the show has confirmed the altercation, but Paris herself has refused to comment on it.

Nevertheless, word online has it that she was so upset over what happened (apparently, she planned for the interview to go into another direction and to put her in a good light), that she even called off other engagements she had.

The reason she gave for canceling magazine and television interviews was that she was feeling sick, but inside sources claim it’s because of the interview on The View.

TMZ notes that Paris may have other reasons for feeling “blue” – such as the poor ratings the first episode of “The World According to Paris” got, which were not necessarily related to the aforementioned grilling on the popular chat show.
