Paris Hilton Suspected to Have Pranked Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie is now being plagued by late night crank calls, for which she is said to suspect her former co-star, Paris Hilton.

Richie and Hilton have been avoiding each other after an argument they had earlier this year. Apparently, Nicole has reportedly showed Paris' infamous sex tape, One Night In Paris', to some friends at a party. Hilton fumed and slammed her every time she had a chance. Worried that her show, The Simple Life, might end, Paris sent an apology letter to Nicole last month.

One of Richie's friends is quoted by America's MSNBC.com website as saying: "Nicole has been getting phony phone calls very late at night, practically every night, and she suspects the culprit is her ex-best friend. (…) Nicole doesn't have proof, but she's almost sure it's Paris."

Nicole Richie has recently denied she showed Paris' sex tape at that party and insisted that she is no longer a friend of the famous hotel heiress because they simply grew apart.

"I would never do that. I'm sure it stirs up controversy, which I'm sure that Paris loves but I really have nothing bad to say about her. Today, we're no longer friends There's nothing that really happened, we've just grown apart", Richie confessed.

Meanwhile, Paris Hilton is said to have been involved in a drink-driving incident, according to Digital Spy, UK.
Apparently, the sexy socialite was in her $162,000 Bentley with boyfriend Stavros Niarchos, who was driving, when he smashed the car into the back of a large truck.
