The business-savvy Paris Hilton is not going to let anyone cheat her out of her money. Despite the fact that she's known to make money from various venues and also happens to be the heiress of a rich hotel magnate, Paris is keeping very close track of who owes what to her.

The NY Daily News is saying that Paris has filed a lawsuit with the Manhattan Federal Court seeking to end her deal with Antebi Footwear Group, LLC. The suit claims that the company owes her more than one million dollars in unpaid royalties for a show line that bore her signature and that featured different models of stilettos and slingbacks.

In the lawsuit filed on Tuesday, April 8, Paris argues that Antebi Footwear has breached the contract that has been signed, stipulating that the company was supposed to kick over 8% of its net sales in royalties for 2007 and 2009.

It seems that her company, Paris Hilton Entertainment, was the one that designed all the footwear models, which included stilettos, flats, wedges plus other models, under the name Paris Hilton Footwear, for Antari. In return, they were guaranteed over one million dollars but, at the moment, they have been paid only half of that, which is seen as a breach of contract.

“This lawsuit emanates from Antebi’s unlawful attempt to reap millions of dollars in profits from exploiting the lucrative brand of international celebrity Paris Hilton without paying the compensation it agreed to pay,” is written in the legal documents.

“Although there is no dispute that Antebi owes substantial sums under its agreement, Antebi refuses to pay, and now outrageously attempts to justify its conduct by fabricating its claims that PHE prejudiced its contract rights,” the lawsuit continues.

The Hilton heiress wants the court to give her the money owed as well as cut her loose from the contract with the company, which is still in effect until the end of the year.

Paris is known to back several other products on the market, not just shoes, which all make up a significant part of her revenue, so it's no wonder that she's crying foul on this one because she didn't get paid.

Most recently, Paris has been turning to DJ-ing and hosting parties in clubs all over the world for making a quick buck, ever stating at one point that she was one of the top 5 best-paid DJs in the world, something that has been disputed by the heavyweights of the industry.
