Paris Hilton has a lot to celebrate this week, since she turned 30 and is celebrating the entire week. Paris Hilton also has a lot to celebrate in the weeks to come, like the premiere of a brand new reality show and a second music album.

The socialite has long said that she has no plans to “retire” from making music regardless of how badly her debut material was received by critics and audiences alike.

In fact, she once said that reception of it prompted her to work harder on the sophomore album, which has been in the making for years now.

Good news for fans: an estimative release date has been set by Paris herself. Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Hilton has revealed that fans should keep an eye out for the album, which will arrive in a few months’ time.

“Paris Hilton says her new album will be released ‘in the next few months.’ The reality star, who also has a show for Oxygen debuting in the spring, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter over the weekend at Usher’s pre-Grammy party at Avalon in Hollywood,” THR writes.

Aside from that, Paris is not letting too many details on the project out just yet. Collaborators’ names and even the record label are well-kept secrets and Paris probably wants to keep them that way until further down the road.

“She is keeping mum on the details of the album, telling THR that she wants to keep her collaborators and producers ‘a surprise’,” the e-zine says.

“The new album won't be released through Warner Bros., but Hilton declined which label will handle its release, claiming wants it to be ‘a surprise’ as well,” THR notes.

In July 2010, Paris opened up for the first time about her second music album, saying she wanted it to be more dance-y and more catchy than her debut. She even said she was going for a Kylie Minogue-type of sound on it.

“My record is in production now. I recently finished recording it. It’s very like dance, club music. I really have always loved Kylie Minogue – she’s one of my favorite artists. I’ve just been really inspired by her,” she said, as we also reported at the time.

Unfortunately, then too, Paris said the material would be out “in a couple of months.”

“I just wanted to kind of emulate her. I just kind of love her sound and I love the way she is, so I was inspired by her and the album’s going to be out in a couple of months,” she explained.
