No more junk food, more working out

Socialite extraordinaire, television personality, singer, actress and fashionista Paris Hilton has always been a lean girl. She often attributed her enviable figure to her hectic work schedule and very good genes, which allowed her to basically eat whatever she desired, no matter the time of day. Paris is now slimmer – but not less healthy because of it, she says as cited by Us Magazine.

In recent weeks, Miss Hilton has been generating a lot of media with speculation on whether she had not been neglecting herself or even forgot altogether to eat. In other words, her much slender frame gave way to talk of an eating disorder or other unhealthy habits. Far from it, Paris says in a first statement tackling these specifics rumors: since summer is around the corner and she plans to spend most of it at the beach, she’s just getting her body ready to rock a swimsuit.

“Paris Hilton may have chowed down on a massive Carl’s Jr. burger in those infamous [hot] 2009 commercials – but these days, she’s given up fast food. ‘I’ve been really working out. I’m not eating fast food anymore,’ the heiress, 29, told Us Magazine at Victoria’s Secret party at Drai in West Hollywood Tuesday. ‘No more McDonalds, In-N-Out done,’ she added. ‘[I’m] getting my bikini body, so I’m about that’,” Us writes citing the heiress herself.

“She’ll be showing off her bod a lot this summer. ‘I’m just going to be on a yacht. Summer must have? A yacht,’ said Hilton, who is heading to the Cannes Film Festival this week. ‘I’m going to St. Tropez, Monaco. I’ll be working as well, but a lot of relaxing.’ Hilton – who announced her split from Doug Reinhardt in April – will be flying solo,” the publication goes on to say.

In an earlier interview, Paris also said that she was OK with being single, as she had more time to herself and to simply enjoy herself and her independence. Since certain badmouths also said that she was refusing to eat because of the split from Reinhardt, her own statements should suffice to put such rumors to rest.
