She's said before she's more than just a glitzy blonde and she now has the figures to prove it: ever since she launched her first perfume in 2005, Paris Hilton has made over $1.3 billion (€1.01 billion), she tells the latest issue of FHM.

That Paris is highly bankable is no secret by now: she's always been this way, even back in the day when most people looked at her and only saw an airheaded party-girl.

In recent years, the former tabloid darling has taken a step outside the spotlight in order to focus more on her career as a businesswoman and, as it turns out, it's paid off – and then some.

Clearly, she couldn't have done it if she hadn't made a choice to be actively involved in everything that comes out with her name on it.

“I’m involved in my products every step of the way. My fragrances are doing really well at the moment. They’ve produced more than $1.3 billion [€1.01 billion] in revenue since 2005,” Paris tells FHM in its latest issue.

Note that this is money made from her perfume lines only. In other words, if you want to have an idea of the kind of dough Paris is rolling it, you'd best multiply that by... a lot.

“I have 35 stores and 17 product lines and then there’s my racing team, my 14 fragrances and my new project, the Paris Hilton Beach Club chain,” Paris explains.

“The first one is opening in the Philippines soon. It’s going to have nightclubs, restaurants, bars, gyms, everything really,” she adds.

As if all of this didn't keep her busy enough, Paris is also plotting her grandiose return on the music scene and, think what you will of her first album, the second will be better because it will no longer be pop.

“I have a huge passion for house music. It always has been my passion. I just haven’t been able to focus on it, because I have been doing reality TV for so long now,” she says.

“I’ve been working on the album with lots of other top DJs for a while now and I think people will be really surprised. It’s very modern and very catchy; perfect party music,” Paris further notes.
