Paris Hilton reportedly wanted to buy a cheetah

Paris Hilton has been missing in action over the past days, but that definitely doesn't mean that her blond brains haven't been up to their usual tricks. Which basically means that Paris was up to her old tricks of appearing clueless, saying incredibly silly things and talking way too much about herself and her perfect life. The Hilton soon-to-be-ex-heiress accompanied her current beau, Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden and his band on tour and exposed her ignorance to other cultures and civilizations around the world. As a result, the special connection between and her former best friend's baby daddy's twin brother grew and grew, up to the point where Paris couldn't keep it all in and turned to her MySpace blog in order to express her heartfelt love for Madden, whom she has been dating for roughly two months.

"I've been on tour with my boyfriend for almost a month now," she writes. "We've been everywhere from South Africa to all around Europe. It's been so much fun! I've never felt so happy and in love, he's such an amazing guy and life has never been better! It's so much fun going to their shows every night, I now know every song by heart. I love Good Charlotte, they rock!! All the guys in the band are so cool and sweet and it's been such an amazing and memorable experience," she gushed. Well, it was quite a memorable experience for the people who got to welcome Paris into their native lands, too, seeing how the blond disaster mistook West Africa for a country, gave away signed bikini shots of herself at an orphanage and reportedly wanted to buy a cheetah.

A source at the luxury Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town, where Paris and her mates were being accommodated alongside other guests at the My Coke Fest music event such as the Kaiser Chiefs and Korn, told the NY Daily News; "Every time Paris saw something she liked, like a woman's dress, she would ask how much it was. That included a cheetah she saw at an animal park. She asked how much it was and said, 'If I bought a cheetah, would it run away from me or could I keep it?'". Coming from just about any other celebrity under the sun, all this would be taken as no more than a silly joke and promptly forgotten. Since it's Paris, well, you know the frill: anything can happen. However, let's all admit that the whole "let Paris buy a cheetah and watch as it chases her around L.A." concept is not such a bad idea after all.
