Our favorite walking blonde disaster was at the Kate Somerville White Room Emmy suite in West Hollywood last Friday and she had the grace to deny the rumors that she was planning to adopt. "Someone just said that I'm adopting four blonde babies. That's retarded. No, I'm not", she stated.
And with this, the nightmare is over - we can all sleep soundly in our beds without fearing that our little blue planet would be overrun by blonde heiresses literally born on the catwalk. But don't drop all your defenses - it's only over for now. When asked if she would consider adoption, Paris replied "Maybe, but I want to have my own children". See what I meant about the threat not being over?
And it sure looks like Paris is doing her fair share of work to make sure she finds the best daddy available. In recent weeks, the starlet was seen a lot around Entourage star Adrian Grenier but she insists on saying that they're not romantically involved. Newsflash: romance has long stopped being a condition for making babies. Unfortunately - my granny would add.
"Totally just friends", Paris says, classy and to the point. "We met a couple years ago [and] we've stayed friends. He's been like kind of a mentor to me, teaching me about the environment and what I can do". OK, if Paris Hilton admits to having someone around her to whom she looks up and sees as a mentor, the world must definitely be going crazy. I mean, is there someone else out there except herself that she admires? I have to say - I'm speechless. A mentor. The environment. Has Paris been abducted and replaced by a more caring (and slightly greener) clone?
She also stated that "I think it's cool to talk to someone in L.A. who has more to talk about than all this artificial crap people talk about. It's nice to talk to someone who's real". Well, that must mean she's got the brains to understand more than just...what was it...artificial stuff. I always suspected it, I just never had solid proof before. Take that, Lindsay Lohan.
Plus, Paris is doing a movie - that horror musical we were telling you about a month ago - and has reportedly been working on her acting skills. "This is my first time that I've actually taken it seriously. Before, I was just doing it for fun, not really paying attention - not even studying my lines. But this time, I'm serious about it. I really tried hard to get this role. I rehearsed. I was the best at the audition. I got this part because I deserved it, and I'm going to make sure I do the best job ever". Yes, well, again - we all suspected House of Wax sucked, we were just not sure why. Nice of Paris to give us so many hints - and to get all covered in blood again - but I have to say, she has sort of made me curious about seeing Repo when it comes out. Yes, as far as Paris goes, hope is in the end all that we have going for us.
