Paris Hilton, Cy Waits Are Having Problems Because of Her Show

Socialite and reality star Paris Hilton is having serious problems in her 1-year relationship with Cy Waits, who has suddenly realized he got more than he bargained for when he agreed to appear on her new reality show, “The World According to Paris.”

Source close to the couple are telling E! Online that they’ve been drifting apart and have come to understand that something has to change to help them move on with their relationship.

The media attention and the pressure of being on the show has also proved too much for Cy, who is more of laid-back type of guy than a reality star, tipsters say for the aforementioned publication.

So, for the time being, he and Paris have put everything on hold and are said to be “reevaluating” their relationship to see whether they can still be together or not.

“Paris loves and respects Cy very much. He has been through a lot with her. But sometimes it’s hard on the relationship because he’s not used to this lifestyle, the media and being on a show,” an unnamed but admittedly very reliable spy tells E!.

Not being told just how much of his personal life would be shown on TV has also made things worse for Cy, who is simply not cut for the kind of life Paris has been living, completely in the public eye.

“Cy is very upset with The World According to Paris. He felt that way too much of their private life was shown. When he signed on to do the show, he had no idea the cameras would be so invasive,” the insider explains.

“Cy has a daughter and he’s very protective about keeping her out of the media and wanting her to lead a normal life,” says the spy.

Then, there’s Paris’ apparent fear of a more serious – and official – commitment.

“Sometimes he feels like Paris isn’t ready to take the next step. They both love each other very much and are deciding what to do now,” another source says.

Paris Hilton’s “The World According to Paris” premiered just recently to disastrous ratings. Word has it may be canceled even before the end of season 1.
