Is Paris Hilton reaching for Nicole Ritchie?
Apparently so, considering her latest statements. Nicole Ritchie was recently dumped by DJ Adam Goldstein, after he became fed up with her mood swings.

So the socialite empathized with her former friend Nicole, and said:
"I am really sorry to hear about Nic's engagement. I went through the same thing."

She was referring to the split between her and Greek shipping billionaire Paris Latsis. But, as long as the public knew, it was her who dumped Mr. Latsis. So "same thing"?!

And Paris doesn't stop here. She goes on:
"With Christmas coming up, I realize I really miss her and want to get in touch again."

She will have the chance to do so at the "Simple Life"'s fourth season. The producers from cable network E! Entertainment had managed things for the two never to see each other during the shooting, but that could be changed, sparing costs as well. Two separate crews had been hired. If Paris' proposal is for real, and she and Nicole are to shake hands, some people might lose their jobs...
