When it comes to Los Angeles socialite and tabloid darling extraordinaire Paris Hilton, there's not much that hasn't already been said. However, this is purely a fashion piece and we're not going to get into any details regarding Paris'

other preoccupations apart from her endeavors into the world of clothing designs.

You may already be aware of the fact that, like any other respectable socialite out there, Paris has her own line of clothes, accessories and shoes out. What you may not know is that she has taken the meaning of the words "self promotion" to a whole new level, wandering the world with her own face printed or embroidered on the clothes she wears.

Fashion-wise, this rather strange decision is not scoring Paris and bonus points with her critics or with any respectable designer in town. However, we could argue that the socialite's choice of wearing countless T-shirts and dresses emblazoned with her own face, accessorized with bags bearing her name by means of logo is not simply a marketing decision, but rather a choice resulting from a more personal attitude.

T-shirt reading "I love Paris" is as much a personal statement as it is an invitation into a world populated by beautiful, evenly bronzed blond women who live carefree lifestyles and get all the cute-looking boys. Simplistic, you may say, but when it comes to selling a product, simple is often more effective than sophisticated and tangled.

Paris herself already explained that her clothes collection is specifically aimed at all the young ladies who want to be just like her and that's why they are reasonably priced and quite easily accessible. You won't be seeing crazed Paris fans battling over the heiress' latest designs, but by wearing said clothes herself, Paris made sure her clothes won't be sitting on the store racks forever. She may not be a genius, but she knows how to do business and at least for that she deserves our praise. That and being bold enough to wear her own face on a T-shirt. Not everybody could pull off such a stunt, you know.
