Say what you will about Paris Hilton but she too is just human like the rest of us. Well, not quite like the rest of us because she happens to be filthy rich and with no sense of shame and of the ridicule whatsoever, but still, you can see the resemblance, can't you?
Assuming that I haven't offended you by saying that Paris is like you (and me), let's learn more about our all-time favorite heiress. Apparently, the best way to get on her nerves is to say something bad in public about her. That is sure to piss her off and in no time she is all in tears, pleading with her attorneys and her lackey (i.e publicist) and making sure that all incriminatory evidence is gone.
I was telling you two days ago that Paris was very upset about a poster ad that was put by a mini storage company in the subway and on telephone booths. The poster featured a Tinkerbell look-alike and the slogan read in huge letters 'Your closet's so shallow it makes Paris look deep'. Useless to say, between the moment in which the celebutante learned about its existence and that in which it was pulled down, the world had only a couple of hours to enjoy such an exquisite piece of art.
Now, Paris is hurt again. Yes, I know the thought is completely unbearable but, I imagine, we'll find a way to live through this, too. This time, it was MTV the one that broke poor Paris' fragile heart, although the intention was far from it. I'll explain: way back in January, Paris shot a skit in which she poked fun of herself for the MTV show 'ShortCircuitz'.
The fake infomercial for which Paris even opened the doors to her house and asked the camera crews in, was for a product called 'What Would Paris Do bracelets'. The clip shows a salesgirl Paris working her magic on her clients and then moves to a real-life situation, featuring a long-legged blonde in a mini skirt who, per chance of course, looks exactly like our dear Miss Hilton.
As the blonde is speeding in her car, she is pulled over by a police officer and asked to perform a sobriety field test. Trapped and with no other way out of a very nasty situation, the woman turns to her Paris bracelet for advice and, the very next moment, we see her grinding on the police officer as if he were a stripping pole. The next thing, we hear the officer telling her that 'I can't arrest you, you're too fabulous' and setting her free... into the sunset, as they say.
Even if Paris knew from the start what the skit was all about and, consequently, had agreed to it before it was even shot, she is now all over MTV's ass to have it removed from the show. Seeing that she was recently arrested (again!) for speeding and driving with a suspended license, the joke is no longer funny for her and she wants to sue MTV if her demands are not met. Because it's her, ahem, reputation in line, you see.
