You would have thought Paris Hilton learned her lesson when she released that crappy debut 'album' and no one wanted to buy it. Instead, the heiress continued to promote it all over the world, and there was even a rumor that she might go on an international tour. Thank God that never happened!
Either way, Paris is either too narrow-minded to realize when she must call it quits or too desperate for money. Whichever of the two, the effect is basically the same on the poor people who have to stand and listen to her horrible tracks every time she is in the mood of 'performing'. The same happened to singer Joshua Radin, who went to a Jay Z concert in Las Vegas, in the hope he would listen to some good hip-hop.
He got that (good hip-hop), but he also got more than a due share of Paris Hilton's amazing singing voice. For nearly five hours, the singer was forced to stay put next to the socialite who, according to his own words, did not even bother to watch Jay Z sing on stage.
'Now don't get the wrong idea. But she never once said hello, nor even looked in my direction. Five hours. And it was unreal to watch. She must have pulled a compact out of her bag every 6 minutes to stare at herself and pose while Jay-Z was performing 18 inches from us', Radin says on his myspace blog.
But the best part of the evening was when Paris got up and went on stage to perform that music of hers which is so good it makes her cry, as she stated a long time ago. It turned out that her music is - in fact - so 'good' that it makes her (out of all people!) puke.
Cue to Radin again: 'Paris, who had been swilling straight vodka from a Grey Goose bottle for hours, gets up on stage after Jay Z has finished, has the people in charge throw her "record" on the house stereo for her to lip sync two of her songs. She gets up on the stage, pukes and leaves. I find the music business charming.'
Whether the reaction (of puking) was provoked by the quality of her music or by the effect of so much vodka has not yet been established. All those in favor of the first say 'I'. I!
