The Hiltons must be just about the most delightful family in the world. Only trouble is, they seem to have very lax standards when it comes to drinking - or maybe they simply don't teach their children that alcohol is bad. Or maybe their children simply don't pay any attention to their parents, which would explain why in less than a year two of the Hilton kids were busted for DUI. Yes, it's true - as of yesterday, Paris Hilton's 18 year-old brother Barron's mug shot can join his big sisters' in the glorious family album. Barron Hilton was pulled over by police in Malibu at 8:30 A.M. on Tuesday and booked with DUI. Gossip site TMZ reports that Hilton blew a .14 blood alcohol reading - which is nearly twice the legal limit for people over 21. Seeing how Barron is 18, in his case any blood alcohol level is considered legally drunk, which does nothing but add to his string of troubles.

And believe me, little Barron is in a ton of s**t right now - if you'll pardon my French. In addition to the fact that he was dead drunk at 8.30 in the morning (which I admit is quite an achievement), he was also stupid enough to show the officers who pulled him over a false California driver's license. And that's not the worst part. Apparently, little Baron pulled over into the 76 station on Pacific Coast Highway, where he managed to hit one of the employees with his Mercedes and "bump" him to the ground. "I was knocked to the ground" he claims. "The Mercedes lost control as it was turning into the gas station and Barron got out of the car and he was totally drunk and couldn't walk straight". Ouch!

But wait - there's more! Barron's parents Rick and Kathy didn't have a clue about what was going on - but when they finally found out about the mess their son was in, they refused to post bail and spring him out of jail. Apparently (and very ironically) Barron got the cold shoulder treatment from older sister Paris - who also apparently refused to give him the $20,000 he needed to get out. Finally and after much drama, some friends went to a bail bondsman and Barron was released from jail at around 5.30 in the afternoon. To be honest, I think it's quite ironic that Paris is "trying to teach her brother a lesson" by letting him spend some quality time in jail. Wasn't she the one dragging him around to all the clubs just a few short days ago? And I pretty much doubt that before they left home she lectured him on the horrible consequences of drinking. In any case, Barron could face an underage drinking claim, and he may also be charged with reckless driving, operating to endanger, and vehicular assault. My, that's quite impressive for a first-timer...
