Well, actually those weren't the exact words used by 50 Cent, but I think you get the point. And yes, I must say some champagne is in order - and I swear I'll drink it alone if no one else decides to join me. I mean, it's a big day. For months, I've been hoping that someone out there - preferably a celebrity, so that it has maximum impact - will one day finally decide to tell Paris to "get the f**k off the stage" (not my words), and now it finally happened. Amen to that, Fiddy! I only wish the rapper had been more specific. I mean, he could have told the soon-to-be-ex-heiress to "get off the stage and out of our lives for ever, and never show her wonky smile and her annoying self in public again for at least 10 years". Yes, that would have done it nicely.
The story goes like this: over the weekend, Paris hosted a pre-Super Bowl party for 944 magazine - you know, one of those events where she gets obscene amounts of money for showing up and where she usually likes to put on a show, dance on tables, have sex, kiss Elisha Cuthbert in public... you know, the usual. Well, 50 cent performed at the very same party, and while on stage he gave Paris a shout out - because, you know, they used to be friends prior to this.
But Fiddy should have learned his lesson a long time ago, and he should have known that if anyone pays Paris even a little attention, she will jump on it and start acting like she's queen of the world. Which is what she did when Fiddy called out her name: the heiress stood up and started singing in the front row - because, you know, she was in a musical and now she's firmly convinced that she can sing. After which she wanted to get on stage and dance - only to be told to "get the f**k off". Ouch!
Poor, poor Paris. Actually, I was kidding - I don't feel the least amount of pity for her. She's such an annoying, attention-seeking whore most of the times, it's actually difficult to feel anything but joy at the thought that there are people out there who won't tolerate her and her over-the-top behavior. Apparently, when Fiddy told her to get off the stage, she started crying and pleaded with the party's production staff to let her dance. It's my party and I'll cry if I want to... Great, now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all day. So, as I was saying, I'm off to the fridge to find that bottle of champagne I was saving for such happy days, and in the meantime, I'll leave you with this thought: just consider what Paris would do if there were more celebrities out there willing to speak their minds about her. Probably be in the room next to Britney's by the end of the week.
