14 DAY TRIAL // A couple from Crestview, Florida has decided to use public humiliation to shame their 13-year-old daughter, who two years ago lost a brother in Afghanistan, into being more diligent in school.
They made her wear a sign after she reportedly got two D grades and acted aloof and disrespectful.
“I’m a Self-entitled teenager w/no Respect for authority. I’m also super smart, yet I have 3 ‘D’s’ because I DON’T CARE,” the gigantic sign reads.
Gentry and Renee Nickell strapped it on her and made her wear it while standing at the intersection of Ferdon Boulevard and U.S. Highway 90 in Crestview, prompting photos of her to go viral on Facebook.
The story made the news after a concerned motorist who dubbed this bad parenting called police on the family, NWF Daily News details.
