A picture taken at a costume party for a village gathering in Northern Ireland has sparked a lot of debates on good parenting.

Two little girls from Strangford in County Down have been sent off to the party dressed as an infamous duo held in jail for smuggling drugs, the Peru Two.

Melissa Reid and Michaella McCollum Connolly are awaiting prosecution in a maximum security in Peru after being caught transporting drugs. They claim that they are innocent and that they have been kidnapped, Daily Mail informs.

They could be in jail waiting for the trial for another three years while a guilty sentence could amount to 15 years in prison.

Reid lives in Lenzie near Glasgow, while McCollum Connolly is from Dungannon in Northern Ireland. Their case has been talked about a lot in the area.

The photos of the little girls dressed and styled to look like the alleged mules on their arrest day has become viral.
