14 DAY TRIAL // Despite the fact that all signs pointed out to “Paranormal Activity 3” being the final installment in the horror franchise, a fourth film will be out in theaters this October. Above is a first look at it.
This isn't exactly a teaser trailer but more of a trailer for a trailer. As with all other “PA” promo clips of such short length, there really isn't much to say about it.
However, we might have a new twist on our hands, as the briefest glimpse of a blonde woman towards the end seems to indicate: it could be that the haunting has “expanded.”
Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman return to the franchise. The script is by Zack Estrin, who acted as producer on “Paranormal Activity” and was also on the writing staff for “Prison Break.”
“Paranormal Activity 4” will be out in theaters on October 19. Here's to hoping the full trailer will offer more details on the plot.
