Paramount Pictures is set to debut a theme Park that they say will rival Disney World, in Paris. The location chosen for this new and exciting initiative is London, England.

The park is set to feature themed rides reminiscent of such blockbusters as Mission: Impossible, Paranormal Activity and Star Trek. Transformers is not on the list, as that would infringe on Hasbro copyrights, trektoday.com reports.

The park would be completed in six years, if you listen to insider gossip. An exclusivity deal has been signed to secure a location in North Kent, in the London area, in order for the property to be developed into an amusement park.

The land covers a mere 870 acres, and real-estate company London Resort Company Holdings already has a signed agreement with Paramount Licensing Inc. for developing the property.

Although Paramount will not be investing in the theme park, rumor has it that London Resort Company Holdings and partners are planning to put up a whopping €2.5 billion ($3.2 billion) into the amusement park. The investment is set to create 27,000 jobs near Dartford, Kent.

Lafarge, the original owner of the land, the Brookfield Multiplex construction company and development company Development Securities plc. have announced their involvement in the project, themeparkpost.com informs.

According to LuxuryLaunches, this entertainment destination would feature Europe’s largest indoor water park, as well as theaters, rollercoasters, cinemas, restaurants, and hotels.

Makers are targeting tourists from all over Europe, by choosing a venue that serves not only British customers. The park is located at an 18-minute drive from London, and it would take 110 minutes to reach it from Brussels.

French amusement park aficionados can reach the destination by driving 125 minutes from Paris, or jumping on a train from the North of France and traveling for 90 minutes.
