If you’re running Parallels Desktop 9 on a Mavericks host, chances are you’ve probably incurred a crash or two in the past few days.

Not to worry though. Parallels Inc., the makers of the popular virtualization software, are coming to the rescue.

An updated Parallels Desktop (version 9.0.23140.935944) is now available to the masses, containing a number of bug fixes meant to alleviate the aforementioned crashes under OS X 10.9.

The update is said to resolve a problem with virtual machines crashing while running on Macs with OS X Mavericks installed, and it also promises to resolve a problem with the Parallels Desktop GUI when switching a virtual machine to Coherence.

The update is free for all registered Parallels Desktop 9 users. You can download Parallels Desktop 9.0.23140.935944 right now and fix your troubles with a few clicks.
