14 DAY TRIAL // Online retailer Amazon has briefly posted (and subsequently pulled) an advertisement for Parallels Desktop 9, the upcoming version of the powerful virtualization solution from Parallels Inc.
The ad in question included a pre-order button, and looked a bit like the screenshot you see up there. However, at the time of writing Amazon had pulled the offer, causing the link behind the page to become invalid.
Priced identically as before, Parallels 9 is reportedly coming out August 5, and if you buy Parallels 8 now, you’ll be eligible for a free upgrade when the new version comes out.
Parallels will probably make the formal announcement momentarily. The company has always launched new versions of its virtualization app in the September – November time-frame.
