Parallels, the company that makes it possible to run Windows on Apple’s own Mac computers, is planning to port its application to Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8.

According to a report by WMPowerUser, the firm has posted a job ad looking for someone who can develop a Parallels Mobile client for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. The app would come with a full Metro interface and would be compatible with desktop computers, tablets and mobile phones.

In addition to some other responsibilities, the new developer will have to create “the Client for Parallels Mobile for Windows 8/Windows Phone 8 (Metro UI) for the phone, tablet and PC,” the job opening reads.

Parallels Mobile is already available on Apple’s iOS platforms, so porting the application to Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system was just a matter of time.
