Gordon van Dyke, a developer working at Paradox Interactive, says that his company has a plan to launch a video game on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and will make sure that the end product is not just a cheap PC port.

He states during Game Developers Conference, quoted by Joystiq, that “We first need to make sure we can get the game running on the hardware, but the hardware is much more easier to work with than it was previously when I was at DICE on Battlefield.”

Many developers complained that the PlayStation 3 was too hard to develop for but Sony wants to attract more teams to the PS4 by using a X85 architecture.

Gordon van Dyke previously worked on War of the Roses, and the action-driven medieval combat game would be a good candidate for a PlayStation 4 launch.
