Developer Cyanide and publisher Paradox Interactive have announced that they are working on a new game called Impire, a real-time strategy game that will allow players to take on the role of a demonic imp named Bjal-Abaddon and try to lead him on his quest to become a dungeon lord.

The main task of the player will be to create dungeons, complex and deadly, who are able to kill invading heroes, while also working to create weapons and armor that he can use, which probably means that Impire will also include some action elements.

Cyanide said that the game would offer single-player and cooperative multiplayer, and competitive play would be introduced via a new mode for four players.

Impire is set to be launched exclusively on the PC in early 2013.

Cyanide is best known for the recent Game of Thrones role-playing game and for the previous strategy title based on A Song of Fire and Ice.
