Developer and publisher Paradox Interactive has announced that it was working on a new wargame set during the Napoleonic era called March of the Eagles, which will allow gamers to take control of one major European power from 1805 to 1815, fighting with or against the mighty armies of the French general and Emperor.

The new game will focus on the tactical innovation and the strategic challenges that the countries faced during the era and will allow them to control a number of historical great generals, each of them with a specific skill level and a number of unique skills.

Gamers will also be able to create alliances and use diplomacy to take enemies out of the fight without spilling any blood.

March of the Eagles will also introduce logistics into the equation, asking players to keep their supply lines secure before going into an important battle.

The game will be launched during the first months of 2013 on digital distribution services.
