2013 could very well be the year when, everywhere you turn, you see Benedict Cumberbatch – and hear his exquisitely silky voice. Besides starring in the insanely anticipated “Star Trek Into Darkness” and several other films, he’ll also be on HBO with “Parade’s End.”

The mini-series, which has already aired in the UK, has been picked up by the network for release worldwide, starting February 26.

“Parade’s End” is adapted for the small screen by Tom Stoppard, from the book series by Ford Madox Ford.

It focuses on a love triangle (Cumberbatch – Rebecca Hall – Adelaide Clemens) and is set against the backdrop of the World War I.

Above is the first official trailer for it: check it out and enjoy, while I inwardly rave about his weirdly beautiful face and his hypnotizing voice.
