Ever since the Oscar-winning actress hooked up with country singer Keith Urban, the couple has been constantly plagued with stories about a pregnancy. And the tabloids just went on and on (every two weeks, Nicole made the headlines with a 'baby bump'), until the two newlyweds felt compelled to take a stand.
Yesterday, Kidman's representative, Catherine Olim, came straight with the story, infirmed that her client is pregnant and claimed that the photos recently published were Photoshopped by the magazine that acquired them.
According to 'The Australian', a magazine called 'New Deal' paid approximately $20,000 for the pictures that were supposed to show the slender actress with a bit of a bump. When they saw that she was as svelte as always, the people from 'New Deal' had the images altered to show exactly what they wanted them to show.
'[I'm] Afraid they wasted their money. [Kidman's] not pregnant', Olim said about the pics. She then added that Nicole wouldn't be 'shooting a film, traveling to Rome for another film, and then shooting ANOTHER film if she were [pregnant]'.
As argument for being so sure that the Aussie is not with child, Olim brings her own testimony: she has seen Nicole with her very eyes. 'Incidentally, I'm virtually certain paparazzi are distorting photos to make her look pregnant. I've seen her, she's her regular slender self'.
