Papa John’s Pizza stands as probably the single restaurant to get its own Internet meme. The boycott started as pizza chain owners announced they would cut employees' working hours.
CEO John Schnatter stated he would fight Obamacare in any way he would, the
Huffington Post wrote. Reducing working hours so that he doesn't have to pay health insurance seemed like the next logical step, I guess.
Since the statement, posters such as the ones you see above have been popping up on Reddit, giving way to a full-fledged never-before-seen online PR disaster.
"Obamacare is killing my business! I should give away 2 million pizzas for free," one user posted.
"Better ingredients. Better pizza. Better find a second job" is another funny one.
