14 DAY TRIAL // Papa John’s has done it again: too soon after the incident when a waiter wrote “lady chink eyes” on a receipt to describe a customer, a delivery man was fired after he left a racist message on a client’s voicemail.
Audio of the voicemail has been posted online by the client, an African American man, and it’s already gone viral.

“I guess that's the only requirement for being a [N-word] in Sanford. Yea… They give me five bucks there – fine outstanding African American gentleman of the community. Well just tip me this [expletive]-ing [N-word],” the man is heard saying.
He’s complaining to a fellow co-worker that he didn’t get a tip, though the customer swears he always tips 21% when ordering from Papa John’s.
Immediately afterwards, the delivery guy launches into a version of Figaro, singing “Nigaaaa-roooo” much to the delight of the men he’s talking to, who are laughing heartily.
Papa John’s has already confirmed that the delivery man was fired. They’ve also issued an apology to the client thus offended.
