Looks just like the wallet you will have to empty for buying it

Pantechhas has just unveiled their IM-U200 phone model, although it is unlikely for many people to have the chance of owning one. The phone will stay in Korea, as it seems to happen with most unusual mobile phone concepts.

Pantech IM-U200 has been presented as the "Shooting Star" handset, although its design makes it rather resemble a wallet. The clamshell phone model manages to combine white and black areas in order to provide a stylish design, with unusual lines. It's a modern and fresh look coming from Pantech, rather unfortunate to have it unavailable at a larger scale.

Aside from the futuristic spacecraft design, the device also packs some features which will prove useful for many users. They will be happy to find out that it has multitasking, an electronic dictionary and text viewer functions as well.

When it comes to performances, Pantech IM-U200 proves to rely mostly on its good looks for catching the interest of customers. The handset comes equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera for taking captures of an average quality. There is also an MP3 player included for entertainment.

Connectivity is available through Bluetooth, although nothing more is specified about what performances this phone is capable of. The ability of placing handsfree calls is not all that impressive, although useful. It looks rather like a basic feature, nothing that this phone should brag about too much.

Pantech IM-U200 will be available in Korea, with very slim chances of seeing it outside this country. It will come at the price of nearly USD 550, the average cost for the two iPhone models. Considering this clamshell's performances, it is definitely not a bargain. Unless there is some extra special feature that Pantech has chosen to keep secret, the price for this handset will make the phone unappealing for many potential customers.
