I think you don't know yet about the mobile phone
Pantech has sent to a FCC check-up almost a month ago. I'm talking about the PN-810, a handset that at that time got the approval and passed on to other things it had to do without anybody noticing it.
Now it seems we weren't paying the attention it deserved, because in the pictures published by the
Federal Communications Commission
there is something that has made all of the cellphone maniacs out there give it another closer look for more details.
The picture attached to this article clearly shows the Helio brand on top of the phone's display. Sorry about the quality of the photo and the zooming by the way, but it had to be this way or else the detail wouldn't have been that obvious as it can be seen here.
Returning to our subject now, this might be the
QWERTY cellphone announced by Helio to get launched on their network, and if this is true, the bulkiness and the weird egg shape of this mobile device would be forgotten in an instant.
As many of the people talking about the PN-810 at the time are saying, this device is probably hiding a full QWERTY keyboard somewhere under the usual keypad shown in the FCC released photos.
This fact implies that the phone also has some type of
hinge so the QWERTY keyboard would slide on the side and if this is a real thing we also get another one: this device will come in a 3 layer format very unusual for the phones going around the market these days.
Whatever the case, if the PN-810 handset proves to be a true thing and it will go on the Helio network, as it should due to the brand appearing on its front side in the FCC snapshots, then I am quite ready to forgive all its apparent weight problems and pronounce it the next big thing arriving on this carrier's network.
