Pantech's new phone, PG-3810 has just been approved by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).
Pantech PG-3810
is a tri-band compatible GSM 850/1800/1900MHz with a clamshell design. Surprisingly, the handset features dual displays, both capable of showing 262k colors and a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels.
The external True
TFT display has 1 inch, while the internal one measures 1.52 inches. The newly approved phone supports WAP and GPRS, and the only wireless option that it contains is the Infrared port. PG-3810 is somewhat lightweight, with only 90 grams and it measures 80 mm x 43 mm x 18.8 mm. Although it has a pitiful VGA camera with a disappointing 640 x 480 resolution, at least that comes with a self-timer.
Moreover, the clamshell features 64 polyphonic sound and
MP3 ringtones, two soft keys and four-way scroll and selection keys, list and grid menu, photo album. Pantech suggests a talk-time of about 4.5 hours.
The new
Pantech mobile will be available in US markets sometime soon.
