Unveiled earlier this month at the International Consumer Electronics Show, Pantech Element and Burst have just been introduced at AT&T.
As expected, the Android devices can be purchased together for only $250 (195 EUR), or separately for $49.99 (40 EUR) and $299.99 (230 EUR), respectively.
Obviously, all three deals require customers to commit to a new two-year agreement. However, the bundle offer is available for a limited time. At these prices, both Android devices are a bargain, which will probably not be available for a long time.
Pantech Burst is a Gingerbread smartphone powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and packs 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
The handset comes with a large 4.0-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.
On the back, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, while in the front there’s a secondary VGA camera for video calls and self-portraits. LTE and Wi-Fi support are included as well, along with Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS and 1650 mAh battery.
Pantech Element is an interesting slate, one of the few that is IP67 certified as dust and water resistant. The slate features an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen with scratch-resistant glass and LTE support.
On the inside, the tablet is equipped with a powerful dual core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz. The slate runs Google’s Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system, but there’s a high chance that Pantech will roll out an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade sometime later this year.
Other highlights of the Pantech Element include: 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, 9800 mAh battery, GPS with A-GPS support, microUSB and Wi-Fi hotspot capability.
