Rumors about Pantech upcoming Android tablet have started to pour in more than a month ago when the slate was spotted at FCC (Federal Communication Commission).

Dubbed Pantech Element, the tablet is expected to go official at the International Consumer Electronics Show, next week in Las Vegas.

However, the folks over at Engadget have just received more detail on the upcoming Pantech Element. It appears that a corporate AT&T store showcased the official marketing poster for the Pantech Element.

According to them, the Pantech Element should be available for special orders the week of January 15, while general availability is set for the following weeks.

Pantech Element features an 8-inch display and is powered by a 1.5 Ghz processor. It's also waterproof and packs 16GB internal memory and LTE support. The tablet will probably go for $300 with a new two-year agreement or $450 off-contract.
