Pantech have just launched their first HSDPA phone, the SKY IM-U210/U210K, packed with some impressive performances and an appealing design. It looks fresh, stylish and also highly capable of responding to the user's needs.

The slider phone has an incredibly stylish design, with metallic accents. In fact, SKY IM-U210/U210K has some of its navigation keys chromium-plated and also continues with a cold, but elegant metallic look. No smooth, curvy lines for this phone, which makes it excellent both for men and women. The navigation keys come with a highly stylish design and lots of personality.

The display screen is quite large, although the producer has made no specification on its exact size. SKY IM-U210/U210K has a 2 megapixel camera that will only provide average quality images. That's not among the most evolved performances, but, then again, this is not the most important feature that this handset has to pride with.

One of the specifications that are bound to make this handset stand out from all others coming from Pantech is that it has HSDPA capabilities. Not only that, but this phone comes with a breakthrough performance. It brings data transfer speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps, as few other devices are currently capable of providing for their users.

The SKY phone also includes WCDMA global roaming and an electronic dictionary, features that will appeal especially to those who travel a lot. The phone also comes packed with some useful capabilities, such as a text viewer and multitasking. Entertainment is provided by an MP3 player, capable of rendering sound at a fairly high quality.

Korea, as always, gets all the best in mobile phones. SKY IM-U210/U210K will be available from now on in this country for the suggested retail price of 500,000 KRW, or about SGD 800.
