The IM-S150 comes in a stylish and compact looking case, with a design that will appeal to a large number of people, and is one of the four Pantech products to be honored at the 2007 IF (International Forum) Design Awards, for excellence and innovation in the design of mobile phones, along with the Flexus 03 concept phone.

Jin Huh, Vice President, Design Division, Pantech said, "Pantech has put its efforts to offer better and more innovative handset designs to customers. It is a huge endorsement of Pantech's design capabilities to have our designs honored by some prestigious institutions such as the International Forum."

The clamshell is as small as a mobile phone can get, measuring only 78.5 x 37.5 x 16.6 mm and weighing 80 grams, so just a little bit more than the 'world's smallest camera flip-phone' the Pantech C3.

Pantech IM S150 comes equipped with two 260k color advanced-quality screens, a 1.8 inch internal display and a 1 inch external display, a 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera with flash, IrDa, an electronic dictionary and an MP3player. So, it still offers its users the possibility of taking snapshots and listening to music, despite its small size.

The IM-SP150 might just be one of several Pantech's phones to come with Korean Traditional patterns on the surface. The leading Korean mobile phone manufacturer has been working with its Design Community, a group of talented college students, in order to gain fresh ideas and develop mobile phones with a trend-setting design as well as further explore Korean traditional patterns and include them in future phones.
